Paolo Baldesi is a Vice President at Ayna.AI. Paolo is a former Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company’s New Jersey Office, and he was a co-founder of the North America B2B industrial services practice. During his tenure at McKinsey & Company, he served large-cap and mid-cap industrial institutions across North America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. At those clients, Paolo led accelerated growth through organic programs and rapid programmatic M&A efforts.
Early in his career, Paolo was an Associate at a middle-market, New York-based private equity fund focused on buyouts and turn arounds of industrial companies and had previously worked as a manufacturing engineer at a nanotechnology start up in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Paolo has a master’s in engineering in Manufacturing Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from La Sapienza University of Rome, and an MBA from the Columbia Business School.
